Narai Hospitality Group has been a major player in the industry for over 50 years, with renowned hotels across South East Asia. Despite their success, the group brand has remained relatively unknown.

They came to us for an identity that confidently positioned them as hotel owners, operators and investors. They were looking to establish equity in the group name and support their growth plans.

With their new strategy ‘Future Generations’ in mind, we created a brand that drew on their rich heritage, but reimagined it for their future. Symbolising how this family-run business turns ambitious ideas into reality.

We began by diving into the archives, collecting ephemera from obscure sources to understand the group’s rich history.

Inspired by a long-lost type treatment, we created a custom variable logotype. The iconic Narai symbol was upgraded to better suit digital applications.

The brand system centres around the icon, with a triangular typographic system to house content. Able to work in conjunction with hotel logos.

A new digital-first palette supports the historic green, influenced by locations across the group.

Custom illustrations inspired by origami symbolise how the group transforms ideas on paper into the real world.

We established their digital presence with a new website displaying their portfolio and incredible family story in equal measure.
